Anagraph
My name is Tommaso Urli (aka tunnuz) and I am a 23 years old Italian student applying for a Computer Science Degree at University of Udine (Italy). Before that, I gained a scientific-high-school diploma, with a result of 83/100. I always been interested in Computer Science since I received my first 286 in 1993. From then ahead, my life was marked by several computers: a 486, a Celeron 540 MHz, a P4, and finally my great step: an Apple iBook G4 (he has 2 months now, but he can already speak).
I am a webmaster / webdesigner / webdeveloper / server programmer wannabe, but as all the all-in-ones I can make a little of all, but not very well.
My glamorous life
When I'm not in front of my computers, I like to meet some friends, some relatives (gah!). It is 2014 days that I'm no more single and globally 2817 days that I'm in love with Martina, who makes me happy and desperate. I also participate to a folkloristic dancers group (Balarins de Riviere) and not it is not a shame for me to share my time with such beautiful people! I also have two looovely parents (Ermenegilda and Norberto, funny names isn't it?) and a beautiful, tech-skilled sister (:P), Valentina.
I love animals, especially dogs, especially Golden Retrivers, especially females (males are dumb ...). My two dogs: Niki and Untitled Document, are both a meltin' pot of doggy races, and I just love them! Niki is blind. Untitled Document is gay (I suspect).
My interests
Since I got my Celeron, my main interest is webdesign and webdevelopement, I like playing with graphics and make small web applications and websites, to get some money. I always have something to learn about some language or method (now it's Perl, XML, Ajax, JavaScript time!), but I never have the time (or the will) to really apply on them.
I like taking photos (especially macros and nature patterns - please take a look to my Flickr page) and listening to good music such as George Gershwin, Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd, Ben Harper, Beck, Jethro Tull, Doors, Queen, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Blues Brothers and lots of movies soundtracks.
I also play Ultima Online quite often on a non-official Shard named MooN: After Eclipse.
My "work"
As I said, my main interest are web apps and webdesign. In this contest, I'm trying to put on, with my friend blakie, a modest startup (called Tunkie) in order to build custom web applications for our (future?) customers and at the same time, make up a personal knoweledge about the techniques and the instruments of this job. My friendship with Paolo, is one of the most important things in my life, from an year till now.
My projects

- Uniud.org - The project (mine, Paolo's, and Marco's) for a student community whose aim is to help students sharing texts and knoweledge
- Tunkie.net - The little startup I'm trying to spread with my friend Paolo
- Emancipate myself from mental slavery
- Learn Perl, XML, JavaScript, DOM and Ajax
- Be happy!
My future
My dream for the future is to become a celebrity in the webdesign / webdevelopment world, and travel to America / Canada in order to meet the best ones on the field.
Then, when I will be rich and famous, I will settle in America, or Canada, or New Zealand or Jamaica too, and spend my life enjoying the pleasure of webdesign while tons of young webdesigners will begin to follow my road to enlightment!
